Happy Birthday!
I had the honor of photographing a birth last week. It was just beautiful and completely natural. wow, I'd love to do this more often... I wish all people had their babies during normal business hours! You have to be "into" this type of thing to love it as I do. Some folks say, "I'd never want a picture of me like that!". Too bad, because you only get a chance to do this birth process a few times in your life...maybe....
Children are such a gift....poetry that comes to life right before our eyes.
Happy Birthday L!

PROM!
We welcomed the first day of spring with the Lourdes Spring Prom. Susie ordered her dress from unique-vintage.com. It fit like a glove, came in perfect time, and in perfect condition. It was a 1950's style prom dress. Actually prettier then anything we really could see in a 1950's style. I love high- lighter PINK.
Her date, a brave soul, wearing pink to match her.
The beading was so beautiful. Pity to wear it only once.....
Enjoy spring where you are.....because its winter again in Nebraska. Of course it is....

Fun!
Wow, a huge thank you to all my clients and NEW clients who came in to be photographed with Violet our bunny and the chicks to numerous to mention! We did have a great time! If you missed it, don't worry, I am pretty sure this must be a new tradition around here.
Here are some of my favorite snaps of the day!
Seriously? What an arm this boy has! We're just glad he didn't throw a chick!
This is the last image of Abbie. She was NOT excited about chicks in her hands. Soon she warmed up and we kept the tissues handy for the "accidents". You know, chicks have them!
